DESCRIPTION:Richi\, an inspiring 13 year old cancer survivor\, is a featured artist this month at Reservoir. When he was 6 years old\, he was diagnosed with one of the most aggressive brain tumors. He has since gone through more than 19 surgeries. Painting has given him strength to endure\, and has been a medium to support other kids. \nHe will be at the Reservoir Dome Gallery to talk about his art on March 24th from 4-6 PM. Join him! DESCRIPTION:6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them; 7 they brought the donkey and the colt\, and put their cloaks on them\, and he sat on them. 8 A very large crowd[b] spread their cloaks on the road\, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 The crowds that went ahead of him and that followed were shouting\,\n“Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!” \n\nDuring our regular Sunday services on March 25\, 2018 at 9:30 and 11:30 AM\, we’ll be remembering what followers of Jesus have called “Palm Sunday”. We’ll commemorate Jesus’ warm reception into Jerusalem by the very people who would days later call for his execution by the state. We’ll echo this warm reception by the waving of palm branches — a centuries-old Palm Sunday tradition.

DESCRIPTION:Come join Arianne Graham for 60 minutes of moving meditation in the form of hatha yoga\, relaxation breathing\, and meditation. \nAll levels welcome and no experience required. Please bring a mat\, a blanket\, and any other props you may have. We have a few extra. More information here. \nMany people have experienced positive benefits from the regular practice of yoga\, such as general well-being\, increased awareness\, strength and flexibility\, and a peaceful mind and spirit. The primary purpose of “asana” (yoga postures) is to prepare the physical body for long periods of prayer and meditation. It is my hope that you would experience benefits that leave you feeling relaxed\, comfortable\, and strong. DESCRIPTION: I give you a new commandment\, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you\, you also should love one another.  \nJoin us for a family potluck meal and service. Maundy Thursday\, or Holy Thursday\, gets its name from the Latin translation of John 13:34: “I give you a new commandment” (or\, in Latin\, “Mandatum novum“). It was as Jesus washed the feet of his friends and followers that he said these words. \nWe’ll share a meal together. Then\, Dan Archibald will tell the story of how Jesus washed his disciples’ feet before they shared their last meal together. Next\, we’ll take part in a simple Communion: commemorating this last meal by sharing bread and wine at our tables. Following this\, the children will lead the way in washing the feet of those in attendance. We’ll finish with a final prayer before ending our time together. \nJoin us at 6 PM in the chapel at Reservoir Church. Please bring a dish to share. Children are most welcome.

Enjoy extended musical worship\, with opportunities for group prayer and one-on-one prayer with a trained member of our prayer team. \nPentecost is a day when Christians have historically remembered the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the followers of Jesus in Jerusalem\, after Jesus ascended into Heaven. This year\, the holy day Pentecost falls on May 20. Come\, Holy Spirit!
