Each December service will include a participatory aspect\, scripture\, sermon\, and a take-away for us helped by provocative images that stir us to “prepare Him room” as we wait. \nWe also still make space to share life through stories and videos – our activism\, service\, finding life and joy\, and sharing grief. \nYou can access our service live each Sunday morning on Zoom Webinar\, with interactive congregational chat and links to weekly events. DESCRIPTION:Retreat Into Your City! \nA self-guided tour of street art throughout Greater Boston. \nWith a focus on the stories and people of Boston\, and its neighborhoods – you are invited to find the stories of God\, yourself\, and your neighbor embedded in the walls of your city.  \nThis retreat is designed not as a voyeuristic tour\, but one that draws you deeper into prayer\, self-reflection and awareness of beloved community – the people you share this city with – highlighting the reality that God is present where we walk\, live\, work\, and play. \n\nThe bones of our city are pregnant with history\, speak to us of our present reality\, and ask what our involvement and movement forward will look like.\nGrab a friend\, go with a community group\, as a family or solo – and walk and read the streets that surround you!  \nWe will provide maps with suggested routes\, location of murals\, spiritual practices and great spots to find tasty vittles (representative of the area)\, and family-friendly engagement spots (parks & playgrounds).  \nWe’ll start the experience in 30 minute waves\, beginning at 12:30 p.m. There will be two different outdoor locations where you can get instructions to begin\, as well as a fully online option if you don’t want to go to one of the meet up spots.  \n\nRegister at Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/retreat-into-your-city-tickets-124832484321 \nEmail our pastor of Community Life Ivy Anthony with questions: ivy@reservoirchurch.org.
