We partner with Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO) to learn about community organizing and take action alongside other people of faiths. Currently\, we’re organizing in-district meetings to meet with our state representatives on healthcare issues. We’d love to organize Reservoir to where we can take action on issues of affordable housing\, climate change\, immigration a more. \nJoin us\, Faith Into Action\, as we build people power towards real public change\, as we follow Christ in loving our neighbor and doing justice! At our training on power organizing\, we’ll practice relational meetings\, one-on-one\, and how to tell our stories. Everyone is welcome. DESCRIPTION:Our 9:30 Sunday service. You can expect the service to last about an hour and a half. There will be free coffee and bagels! \nMost weeks there will be programming for kids during the 9:30 service; kid drop off is between 9:15-9:30. First through fifth graders meet in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Sanctuary\, the room below the bagel room. All other kids (0-18) can check in at the Ministry Center.

DESCRIPTION:“A friend.. awakens your life in order to free the wild possibilities within you.” \n– John O’Donohue \nThis monthly course will provide an introduction to listening\, soul care\, contemplative practices and spiritual mentorship for one-on-one relational and group contexts. You will learn how to craft and give your spiritual autobiography\, as well as experience and teach spiritual practices like Lectio Divina\, Ignatian practices and contemplative practices. \nThe course requires a monthly commitment to attendance\, readings and spiritual practice. 2nd Sundays – November 2019 – June 2020.
