Although born in Southern California, Angel grew up outside of Boston. She attended Merrimack College and graduated with a BA in Political Science. After college she moved back to Southern California where she worked on a housing project as part of the Augustinian Volunteers running an after-school program for “at-risk” youth. Angel and her husband Ian came to, what is now, Reservoir in 2001 when Ian was attending grad school in the area. They were looking for a place they could both explore faith (Angel from an Irish Catholic background and Ian from an English Agnostic one). Reservoir was the perfect place to explore, and 20 years later they continue to explore what living a life of faith means to them and their family.
Angel loves that faith at Reservoir is not all worked out and looks different for different people, that all are truly welcome, and we all can learn together. She particularly loves to hear how preschoolers experience God and learns so much from them every week. Angel lives with her husband Ian, and three children in Chelmsford. When not working with the youngest members of Reservoir, Angel spends her time homeschooling her three kids. Angel loves learning, reading great children’s literature, growing food and hiking down a trail in the woods.
