Matt Henderson is a musician and worship leader who lives in Washington DC. Originally from the South Pacific, Matt spent his early life in Fiji, Australia and New Zealand where his family still resides. Matt earned a B.A. in jazz piano performance and moved to America a couple of years after graduating. Since moving to the States, Matt has spent his time teaching music, playing in a wide range of musical projects and leading worship at churches in the Washington DC area, where he met his wife Kate. Matt and Kate share a love for food and hospitality, travel, college basketball, and most importantly, Jesus. Matt is passionate about nurturing musical and spiritual gifts in those around him and is excited to bring his gifts and passions to serve at Reservoir.
