Tory grew up in northern New Jersey, where she met her (now) husband, Chris, in middle-school math class. She studied biology at Haverford College and started her teaching career in Providence, Rhode Island. Before settling in the Boston area, Tory lived and taught in Switzerland, Norway, Liberia, Honduras, and Hong Kong. She then taught middle and high school science in Cambridge. She started her work with Reservoir in the City through Soccer Nights and came on staff in 2014. Tory loves to connect with friends and neighbors in the community. In her free time, she likes to run and spend time outside with Chris, their baby, and their dog, Fred.
