Our group's focus is to practice our faith together in a meaningful and engaging way as families--kids together with adults. We usually reflect on a Bible story or idea, with an emphasis on both kids and adults having the opportunity to share thoughts/discussion. Functionally, we meet at a playground after church every other Sunday, starting with snacks and playground fun, and then all come together to introduce the topic and start our discussion. We order lunch (pizza) and eat together, which usually carves out some space for adults to have more in-depth discussions and connections while keeping an eye on the food/playground antics for the kids. We often stay at Reservoir's playground, although we also visit Cedar St Playground, and very occasionally go to a playground that requires a drive.
