Cambridge Community Organizations is hosting Celebrating Disability Pride at Joan Lorentz Park at the Cambridge Public Library, a festive event that aims to increase visibility, dignity, and inclusion of people with disabilities while raising awareness and reducing stigma. Conceived by the Inclusive Health Coalition, a group of Cambridge residents with lived experience or caregivers of people with disabilities, the event aims to foster positive change and community celebration, modeling an inclusive and accessible public gathering.
