We meet every other Saturday morning to share our hopes and struggles in our life and in pursuing faith. We pray for each other and sometimes share a passage from the Bible. We create a space where women can be real and share their true lives together.
For the Fall of 2021, we plan to continue meeting outside at the Panera in Waltham at 1030 Main Street as long as we can.
Women of Color who meet, pray, and laugh.
Weekly – Saturday
This neighborhood community-driven group seeks to explore God in every corner of our daily lives. We use poetry, songs, and other sources to explore and open discussion and sharing. Those that identify as women of all ages and stages welcome! *south of Boston*
This women’s group focuses on prayer for our teenage and older children, for each other in our lives, and for our partners. Occasionally we meet in Jamaica Plain. Please call or email Jean prior to a Saturday if you are interested in joining us.
We share our high/new learning/low (rose/bud/thorn) from the week, reflect on the scripture and spiritual practice from the sermon and pray for each other. To create a relatively safe space, we resist any advice giving, rescuing or fixing, mostly focused on sharing about and hearing from God for ourselves rather than our opinions of what might be best for others. We’re also very careful not to share anything that is shared outside the group to respect people’s privacy.
*meeting virtual until 2021
