Teens build biodiversity with city gardens – on Reservoir’s Campus and elsewhere

We’ve been thrilled to partner with Meadowscaping for Biodiversity and Green Cambridge this summer by providing some of our lawn for use in their program, covered this week in the Boston Globe.

Through the Youth Environmental Entrepreneurship Program, kids learn how to set up their own businesses planting, harvesting, marketing, and selling to area buyers. The program involves the planting of native New England plants, which is good for our local pollinators and other non human community members.

The kids have a demonstration meadow set up on Reservoir’s campus, in case you want to see what they’ve been up to!
