Rosie, a member of Reservoir Church since 2017 has roots in Haiti but is a Somervillian born and raised. After graduating from Somerville High School she followed her passion as a foodie and went to culinary school at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. She has worked as a Supervisor at Au Bon Pain, and held front and back of house positions in several food service establishments.

Rosie served on the board of CAAS (Community Action Agency of Somerville) for a year and is the current Chairperson of the Head Start Policy Council where she’s served for four years. She also serves on the Somerville high school culinary advisory board. She lives in Somerville with her two children, Nahyme aged 7 and Khadijah aged 3. Fun fact: Rosie attended the Torchlight haitian youth group on Reservoir’s campus back when it was Notre Dame de Pitié (Our Lady of Pity).
